The only guy stable in the line up has been the Drummer: Lee Harrison.. But since he is the major song writer of the band the core sound of the band has stayed stable through all the lineup changes... Something to be thankful about...

Nokturnal Mortum - Discography

Band: Nokturnal Mortum
Genre: Folk Symphonic Black Metal
Country: Ukraine

These guys were one of the first Ukrainian bands that I had ever heard. It was the first band I had heard which boasted two keyboard players. Never thought I'd ever be interested in a band that had 2 keyboard players... But, I was proven wrong.

If you sift through their discography you'll be graced with a different band every few albums. Between Goathorns and Nechrist it almost sounds like two different bands. Weltanschuaang feels like a band which suddenly integrated the sounds from both the above mentioned albums. Bottom line is this band boasts an amazing discography and their albums never get old.

Though my personal favourite would still remain Goathorns. But all their albums are worth checking out... Enjoy!!!

Disincarnate - Dreams of the Carrion Kind

Band: Disincarnate
Album: Dreams of the Carrion Kind
Genre: Technical Death Metal
Country: USA

One of the first Death Metal bands which I had heard. Impressive vocals, great drumming and ofcourse very very good guitaring courtesy James Murphy. Even now stands tall as a very impressive peice of Technical Death Metal....

Like All Things Great

Like all things great this began with Alcohol and like all good ideas it deals with Metal.. It began one afternoon when Mr. Tansen while listening to Aclest sends me a message saying that he is enjoying New Alcest. To which I replied that my afternoon was spent listening to Anata... To which he further added that the new alcest was being enjoyed with a beer sloshing around in his stomach and more beer joining the already existing beer in his stomach...

And like all men do when they have consumed a bit of alcohol they think back about their good old times.. Times when metal was new... When you heard bands that made you head bang like an idiot.. That prevented you from having a meaningful conversation with anyone cause the only thing you were able to utter were words like 'MY GOODNESS THAT ALBUM WAS AWESOME'... This blog is dedicated to uploading albums which brought out that effect in us... Well it was Mr. Tansens plan to upload all his favorite albums.. I just joined the band wagon cause he refuses to listen to folk/viking metal and thinks that only idiots listen to happy metal... So the only way that anything like Trollfest would ever get uploaded here was if I was to contribute.. That explains my presence here... While I type this Mr Tansen is still pontificating on how much alcohol he should consume....

This blog will be dedicated to some of the greatest metal albums released which have been devoured by metal fans while consuming alcohol during one drunken afternoon.. This is a tribute to all those drunken afternoons. A tribute to all those drunken evenings.. and drunken nights spent listenign to metal... listening to neighbours complain, parents bicker...And your response to it all is... SHUT UP.. Let me listen to my METAL...
